Products Features

Halogen-free - all components of halogen-free products are made entirely from non-halogenated materials. Upon burning of non-halogenated product, no corrosive fumes occur. Considered as non-halogenated products are those cables that meet all recommendations of standard ČSN EN 50267. Generally, such products also satisfy other standards for reduced fume production upon burning (ČSN EN 50268).

Within premises with explosion hazard - products in virtue of their construction and used materials do not transfer axially any dangerous exhaust fumes.

“ESČ” marking - stands for conformity of such labelled products features with standards of electric safety.

Intrinsically safe - circuits do not form within their proximate vicinity any dangerous values of electrical charge.

Fire-retardant - (imprinted on product) means increased resistance to flame action upon burning of cluster. Products with such marking shall conform to standard ČSN EN 50266 A F/R, A, B, C or D while letter suffixes here distinguish various testing methodology, differing mainly in duration of flame action and in non-metallic elements ratio within the sample. Designation -R conforms to standard of A grade (other designations -F/R, -R, -R/B, -R/C, -R/D).

Flame-resistant - (imprinted on product) represents a product with insulation integrity which has enhanced resistance to flame action during tests according to ČSN IEC 60 331 standard, upon defined gas-flow rate, burner size and under temperature higher than 750°C.

LOCA - maximum project breakdown at NPS, cables are resistant to ionizing radiation.
